Buger is located between Campanet and Sa Pobla, in the north of Majorca , in the district Raiquer. It is surrounded by 80 to 105 meters high hills, to the to the west, south and east followed by a plain . Through this level flow of small Torrent de Can Llobina and the great Torrent de Massanella.
With easy access to the motorway Palma is about 30 minutes away and the beach of Alcudia is about 20 minutes away.
Buger features, although it is the smallest municipality on Majorca, a remarkable historical legacy. The first human traces are left behind in the cave of Can Mossenya on the southern slopes of the Puig de Sa Mata Grossa. The talayotic by Rafal de Puig is another significant find from the prehistory of talaiotic culture. During the Roman period the settlement was driven by the proximity to the Roman road Palma-Pollentia.
