Covid-19: What you need to know when travelling to Majorca

Mallorca Covid Zurzeit

To ensure your safety and the safety of others during your journey, follow these instructions when preparing for the airport and throughout your journey.

Are you fit to travel?

Do not travel to the airport if:

You have any symptoms of Covid-19 (e.g. fever, cough, difficulty breathing).
You have tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days.
Someone you are in close contact with has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days.

Prepare for your trip

Check with your airline before going to the airport.
Please register online. This will help you avoid unnecessary queues and speed up your travel time at the airport.

Make sure you have enough face masks and hand sanitizer for your journey. Unless otherwise instructed, you should change your mask every four hours.
Read carefully all relevant instructions provided by your airline.
All passengers arriving in Spain must complete a health questionnaire (FCS form). Please use the following link to fill in this web page https://www.spth.gob.es/create and follow the instructions on the website.

Alternatively, you can download an app for this purpose, which you can find by searching for “SpTH” in the Google Play Store or the App Store. Filling in the form online before you travel will save you time when you arrive at the airport.
If you are unable to complete the FCS form online or via smartphone, click here for a printable version.

Palma airport now has a Covid test centre for departing passengers. It is located on the first floor of the departure lounge. Check the entry requirements in force at your destination a few days before departure. If a PCR test result is desired, the test must be done in advance. You will need to make an appointment at the testing centre at Palma airport or at one of the private health clinics on the island.

Please observe the following rules at all times:

Wear a face mask.
Keep a distance of 1.5 metres from all other people if possible.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow if you have to sneeze or cough, even if you are wearing a mask.
Minimise contact with surfaces as much as possible when it is safe to do so.
Wash hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or, if this is not possible, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
Drinking fountains may only be used to fill a bottle or other container.
When collecting your luggage, wait until the person in front of you has cleared the area.
Please note that only passengers may enter the terminal building (unless accompanying a person with reduced mobility or a minor travelling alone).

New procedures on arrival at Palma airport

On arrival at Palma airport, you must hand in your completed FCS (Health Questionnaire) form. If you have completed it online, just scan your QR code.
If you are coming from a Covid high-risk country, you will also need to submit a negative PCR test (see above).
