Die Altstadt von Alcudia befindet sich im Zentrum des Dorfes, sehr Nahe des Hafens oder Puerto de Alcudia (weniger als 2 Km). Die Kirche
Die Neogotische Kirche Alcudias ist eines der turistischten Punkte der Zone. Sie wurde von König Jaume I im13. Jahrhundert erbaut. Die Kirche dem Heiligen Patron Alcudias gewidmet Santiago.
Im Innern der Kirche findet man verschidene Kapellen die anderen Heiligen gewidmet sind und ausserdem findet man dort auch viele Gemälde und religiöse Skulpturen.
Die Stadtmauer
Die mittelalterliche Mauer hat eine unregelmäßige polygonale Form, die aus 26 Türmen besteht, ohne die 4 Haupttüren zu zählen:Porta de Mallorca (oder von Sant Sebastià) im Süden und Porta del Moll (oder von Xara) im Norden.
In Wirklichkeit gab es 3 Haupttore, alle miteinander über die Mauer verbunden, die beiden obengennanten Türen im Norden und im Süden und die Vila Roja, im Nordosten. Die gesamte Anlage wurde mit Sandsteinrändern (Marès) errichtet, manchmal mit den gleichen Steinen aus dem Graben, die mit Mörtel und Kalk zusammengefügt wurden.
Später wurde ein viertes Tor geöffnet das La Portella gennant wurde, diese befand sich an der Seite der San Jaime Kirche, und man konnte sie über die heuttige Strasse Sant Jaume erreichen.
Spaziergang an der Mauer
Wir können den gesamten Innenumfang der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer entlang des Camí de Ronda oder auf der Außenseite, die in eine landschaftlich gestaltete Promenade umgewandelt wurde, umrunden. Die Mauern können auch am oberen Teil der Mauern entlang gelaufen werden, von wo aus wir einen Panoramablick auf die Bucht von Pollensa und die Stadt aus einer anderen Perspektive sehen können.
Der markt
Der Markt in Alcudia ist einer des wichtigsten Märkte auf der Insel und ein Muss wenn man die Altstadt Alcudias etwas besser kennelernen möchte. Es handelt sich um einer der berühmtesten Märkte auf der Insel, dort findet man viele Stände, z.B. Kleidung, Obst, Gemüse, Blumen, Modeschmuck und auch einige Andenken oder Souveniers und natürlich mallorquinische Produkte.
Der Markt in der Alcudia Altstadt findet 2mal wöchentlich statt: Dienstags und Sonntags von 7 bis 13:30 Uhr.

The Roman Museum and Roman Ruins
The Roman ruins of the city of Pollentia is one of the most interesting sights of the old town of Alcudia. These ruins date back to the Roman era and there you will find 2 streets and a square with remains of houses and anfitheater.
The bullfight arena
The bullring of the old town of Alcudia is located inside the wall built by the Romans. The bullring was built more than a century ago and in it have triumphed many great and famous bullfighters, great legends of bullfighting.
The arena has a capacity for 3600 people and can be visited all year round. Inside there is a small bar where you can refresh yourself, then you can walk around the arena.

When the night falls over Alcudia’s old town, the ancient zone of Alcudia is illuminated with hundreds of lights. The city wall is illuminated and it becomes a favorite object of all photographers. The streets inside the wall are beautifully illuminated and it is very easy to get lost there and dream yourself into another time.
